Board of Governors' Exam Course in Albuquerque - July 17th
NMHE is pleased to announce a Board of Governors' Exam prep course on Friday July 17th at the Nusenda Administrative Offices/Training Center (Piedra Lisa Room) on Pan American Freeway! The class is for both NMHE members and those interested in joining our group. We will begin promptly at 8:30am and go until 4:30pm.
We ask for a $100 donation which will cover food, materials, and the credits towards taking this class. This money will also be used to support future events for the chapter.
The class will cover items such as governance and organization structure, human resources, finance, healthcare information technology management, quality and performance improvement, laws and regulations, ethics and much more!
One very helpful publication for those wishing to take the BOG exam: Well Managed Healthcare Organizations.
This is the 7th edition but there may also be an 8th edition out there as well.
If you are not already registered for this course and would like more information please email Melissa Cole at mecole@salud.unm.edu.
A big thank you to Melissa Cole and Russell Stowers for organizing and teaching this class!
