This panel discussion will provide insights on what local healthcare organizations are pursuing to both understand and embrace the healthcare needs of New Mexico’s diverse communities.
The communities for which healthcare organizations operate are extremely diverse. Not only do they provide care for a diverse population of patients and families, but their workforce is also changing, and at times does not reflect the patient community. Diverse communities often require different care needs, improved quality, new or modified operational processes and services, and strategic planning for a varied patient demographic.
Registration Process:
Due to COVID-19 changes, NMHE can now offer F2F credits through ACHE’s website during the pandemic. In the past NMHE took attendance, needed evaluation forms completed, and scanned/uploaded all of this information to ACHE for in-person events. With ACHE hosting the F2F education this is now automated, requiring you to take an extra step and register for the event through ACHE. With this change, you will have access to join, evaluate, and watch the recording through your My.ACHE account. ACHE will send you reminders, Zoom login information, and calendar invites (ICS) once you have registered.
Steps for a Virtual F2F event:
Visit nmhe.org to find your event
Register via Eventbrite from the NMHE event page
NMHE will email you the ACHE registration link
Log into ACHE, if you do not have an account it is free to create one

See the step-by-step instructions attached here.
Fully complete the check-out process with ACHE
