Brenda Romero has over 30 years' experience in nursing. As Administrator and previous Director of Nursing and Patient Care Services at Presbyterian Española Hospital, Ms. Romero dedicates her personal and professional life to enriching the health and well being of northern New Mexico and is well known for her work to address the serious and ever-growing problem of drug addiction and domestic violence in Española.

She is a life-long northern New Mexico resident and serves on a number of boards and committees within the hospital and community, including the Nursing Department Advisory Board for Northern New Mexico College, as Vice President of the Rio Arriba Health Community Council, and as a member of the New Mexico Center for Nursing Excellence Board. She previously served on the Governor's Drug Prevention Task Force.

Lunch will be provided compliments of Espanola Hospital.
