CHRISTUS St. Vincent and the New Mexico Healthcare Executives organization will host its CEO Rounds in Santa Fe at CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center. The event will take place Friday, July 8, 2016. The event is also hosted by Patrick Carrier, CEO and President of CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center. The topic of the event will be " Healthcare Safety— Protecting Patients and Front Line Staff "
As part of the Patient Protection Affordable Care act signed into law March 23rd, 2010, patient safety is at the forefront of every organizations mind especially with Value-Based Purchasing expectations from CMS and additional safety measures for FY 2017.
Pat Carrier at CHRISTUS St. Vincent, together with committed physician, staff and community leaders, have been able to implement programs in line with ACO initiatives. Pat and his team have graciously volunteered to share with us the "Lessons Learned."
CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center celebrated 150 years in 2015 and is New Mexico’s oldest hospital. CHRISTUS St. Vincent has 268 beds. Last year, 54,096 patients visited the hospital's emergency room. The hospital had a total of 13,121 admissions. Its physicians performed 3,509 inpatient and 4,847 outpatient surgeries.
